Matcha Latte Throwdown + Tea/ Coffee Triangulation

Houston Flyer - Prizes.jpg

Event Information:

The Spirit of Tea Tour keeps on rolling! After journeys through the west and east, the latest edition runs through the heart of Texas in Houston, this time with a twist.Through these events we hope to share and celebrate our love of tea and its many tastes, providing the practical knowledge and skills for tea that is presented with the same expertise, passion and care as your coffee.

Spirit Tea, Cherry Roast and Houston Coffee Collective will be co-hosting a Matcha Throwdown AND a Tea and Coffee triangulation. You can compete in both and win AMAZING prizes by our sponsors below. The throwdown will be consisting of rounds of our matcha with oat milk as well as rounds with espresso and whole milk.

What do I have to do for Triangulation?

Triangulation - a set of three cups - all you need is to pick the cup that tastes different from the other two - and it's a great way of developing your sensory skill!

At the Tea and Victory 5-sets tea/coffee triangulation contest, you get the cups all set up for you. All you need to do is to pick the odd cup out, mark it down on your paper, and no explanations needed! It's a great way to practice with an incentive! The participant who achieves the highest accuracy within the shortest time wins.

We will collect the record sheets, tally the scores, and the winner will be announced at the end of the event. The winner will receive an Acaia gold scale, Fellow electric kettle, and more!

If you are interested in developing your sensory skills, come join us at this exciting Tea and Victory event!
