SCA US Chapter Formation and Chapter Committee Nomination Information Page

SCA is now accepting nominations for the inaugural USA Chapter Committee!

In order to best serve their members and support further discussions, SCA has extended the nomination deadline for the SCA USA Chapter Committee through March 1, 2019, 3pm CST. Elections will now open on March 11 and close on March 29.

The SCA USA Chapter will give a voice and support to local coffee communities across the country, provide a home to the US Competitions Committee(s), and present the opportunity for local members to get involved in the activities of the organization. 

The roles open for election are:

• National Coordinator (1)

• Regional Coordinator (6)

• Community Coordinator (15)

Nomination and voting is for SCA members only. We encourage you to join the SCA if you want to get involved and be part of this process. Voting period start on 11th February.

You will need the following information to complete the nomination: First and last name, email address, SCA membership number, 100-word short biography, and a photograph. 

If you are nominating someone other than yourself, you will need their name, email, and role, and SCA staff will be reaching out to those individuals to get the rest of the necessary information to complete their nomination. 

We have collected a list of questions and have sent them back to SCA for answers. Once we have the answer back we will post it here on this page.

The map below shows the regional responsibilities for the 6 regional coordinators. We belong to South Central, sharing a region with Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
